Alexander was born in Nova Scotia on 1 Sep 1873, per the 1901 Canadian census.
He moved to the US for the first time in 1884, per the 1920 US census. (Surname misspelled "Dulony" in index.) This was just after his mother's remarriage to David Doucette.
He married Kate Doucette in Wakefield, MA per the LDS IGI; however, no record of the marriage exits in Wakefield.
After the marriage, Alec and Kate moved back to Nova Scotia where all of their children were born, per the 1901 Canadian census.
After Kate's death (sometime between 1903-1915), Alec came back to the US with his children, per Ruth (Dulong) Morganti (granddaughter).
On 26 Oct 1915, Alex remarried to Lillian. The two children listed in the household in the 1920 US census (George G, age 20; and Elizabeth, age 17; both born in MA) are presumed to be children of Lillian's from an earlier marriage. At the time, they lived at 10 Elm Street in Reading, one block away from the family of Alma Meuse, who married Alex's son Frank.
